Coaches and Assistant Coaches Needed.
No Experience Needed.
The success of the Biddy Basketball Program depends largely on the parent volunteers who are able to help with coaching duties. You do not need to have any experience coaching basketball, although a basic knowledge of the fundamentals (dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding) is helpful.
If you are able to help, please complete the form below. We will review your application and notify you if you are accepted. Please know we are not always able to accept every volunteer.
Your commitment.
If you agree to coach, you would need to be available for a one-hour game on Saturdays (various times) and a one-hour practice on a weekday evening (fixed time every week). Please note that there is no weekday practice for Grade 2 Boys and Grades 2 & 3 Girls.
If you are coaching Grades 4-8, you will also be asked to attend the "team placement" practice so that you can participate in the team selection process.
Coaching multiple teams.
If you are interested in coaching more than one team, you may do so. Please complete the additional team forms below.
CORI form required every year.
When you volunteer to be a coach or assistant coach, you will need to complete and sign a CORI form for an FBI background check. This is a standard requirement for everyone and must be repeated every year. You’ll find a link to a CORI form after you submit the form below.
