Milford Stingrays Swim Team

The Milford Stingrays Swim Team is open to all area girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 18 years. The team competes with other area teams in the Winter Suburban League.

Swimmers are assigned to one of two groups based primarily on age – ages 5-10 and 11-18 – but also on skill level. Coaches will recommend appropriate placement.

This is not swimming lessons. Enrolling swimmers should have had some instruction in at least three of the four basic strokes – freestyle (crawl), backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.

Fall and Spring Stroke Clinic and Training Programs

In preparation for the season, all swimmers are invited to participate in a Stroke Development Clinic at the Milford High School pool during the months of September/October for the Fall season and March/April/May for the Spring season.  This clinic is especially important to new swim team members.

For high school swimmers and those swimmers who are 10 years and older and have previously participated on a swim team, the Swim Team Training and Conditioning program is available.
