Certified Lifeguard Training

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course

Starts Wednesday, January 29, 2020

There’s a growing demand for lifeguards.  More job opportunities are opening up every year.

But to be a lifeguard, you must be trained and certified by the American Red Cross.

If you’re 15 years or older with strong swimming skills, we invite you to enroll in the 2019 American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course.

This 11-night course will be held on Wednesday nights at the Milford High School pool.  Instruction will take place both in the pool and in the classroom.

Classes begin with an initial eligibility swim test on January 9, and will end with a final exam on March 27.  The course runs from 6:00 to 7:30 on the first night; then 6:30-9:00 most other nights.
