Certified Lifeguard Training
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course
Classes Offered Variously Throughout the Calendar Year
There’s a growing demand for lifeguards. More job opportunities are opening up every year.
But to be a lifeguard, you must be trained and certified by the American Red Cross.
If you’re 15 years or older with strong swimming skills, we invite you to enroll in any of our upcoming American Red Cross Lifeguard Training courses.
Classes begin with an initial eligibility swim test and will end with a final exam. Dates and times for available courses may vary and are subject to change.
Upon completion of the course and with a passing grade, you’ll become a certified Red Cross Lifeguard which will open many doors for you as a lifeguard. As part of the course, you will also be trained and certified in First Aid and Professional Rescuer CPR.
When available and offered, you can register for the Lifeguard Training courses online. Once on our Activity Registration page please Click for Activities > Kids-Winter > Pool > Lifeguard Training. If you are unable to register online, please contact the Milford Community School Use Program office at 508-478-1119.
